Orders and Returns
All orders must be picked up within seven days of notification. Otherwise, a storage fee of $50 per day will be charged.
Non-refundable items:
- shipping costs,
- special orders (non-stock items),
- and merchandise that has been altered or pre-hung/pre-cut.
- Additionally, shipping and delivery charges may apply for returns.
Merchandise return process.
Please note that we can only accept returns received within 45 days of the shipment date. To get a return authorization, please request it in writing or via email from Modern Doors. The merchandise you are returning must be in a merchantable condition and in the same packaging and wrapper condition as purchased. Additionally, you must provide proof of purchase for all returned items. Please remember that your returned goods will be subject to a warehouse inspection before the credit is issued. If your return results from an error, we will not deduct shipping charges from your refund. However, if you have shipped the return, we will deduct applicable shipping charges from your refund. Lastly, please be aware that a restocking charge of 20% of the invoice price will apply to all returns.
Cancellations and change orders.
Once the manufacturing process has begun, it is impossible to cancel or modify any shop items or special orders. Cancellation or modification requests submitted before the manufacturing process are subject to production and/or material charges that have already occurred.
At Modern Doors, we always try our best to accommodate cancellation and modification requests, but please note that once an order is placed, it is considered firm, and the customer is responsible for the full cost of the order.
